It wasn't-- [Okay, this is getting ridiculous.] --well, I'm not bleeding anymore, at least, but it's been mostly dealt with, so it's fine. Don't worry about it.
[How do you say 'I didn't want to be roommates with a stranger and I don't actually like anybody enough except you and the guy who told me to fuck off on-network last week, and both of you already have roommates'... but, you know. tactfully.
You don't, obviously? Sure.]
The munitions shop's been offering me lodging in exchange for work the whole time we've been here-- was sticking around to gather intel. But I'm around the Inn now.
Zenyatta takes a seat opposite him on the ground. He actually was on his feet for once, although his legs definitely make an unusual sort of sound when he sits. The orbs that circle him slow for a moment as he takes one from it's orbit. With his touch, it begins to glow with a golden light.]
[It does drop... but it doesn't have to. But it's also kind of weird to just have it hovering around when the person could just hold it.]
It is omnic energy. My energy. I am sharing it with you, to help heal your injuries. I do not know if I would consider it "magic." But I suppose with how quickly it can heal wounds, one might consider it such.
...I trusted him, and he stuck it out with me. [he remembered what zenyatta said. never doubt that he's learning-- even if it doesn't always look like it!!] He already found a healer, too.
Good. Please let him know, he is welcome to requesting help from me as well, if he cannot find the healer he knows already.
With that settled, I do believe I should scold you properly now.
I know you are strong and clever, Jin. We are here to help the Qorral, regardless of their current bandit situation or not. You are fortunate nothing worse happened, but the bandits are not our mission, and it would be a detriment to our goal, and the well being of our team, to find some of our members jailed, or worse, over a situation that did not need to escalate. “If a man going down into a river, swollen and swiftly flowing, is carried away by the current — how can he help others across?” You possess so many skills that are vital to protecting others here, who are not fighters.
Please take care of yourself, so that you may take care of others in turn.
...it comes across. A little. He knows it's not his job to make unnecessary trouble here: ALASTAIR had brought them along to solve problems rather than create them, in the end, and Zenyatta has always been right as much as he hates to admit it.]
Easier said than done.
[With his big mouth and thick skull? Much easier.]
But... I'll try. There's too many people in Audentes who can't fight for themselves yet for me not to.
It is as you say. There are too many here who cannot fight, for us who can to remain still. I trust you will be able to judge the difference between what is a necessary battle and what is not.
That is all, sermon-wise. I do not tend to like giving them, after all.

I have heard about the bandits.
[ Although the fact Jin specifically messaged him to warn him... gives him encouragement that he is, certainly, reaching him. ]
And I appreciate the warning. I will keep this in mind, although I have not taken to the bars much.
[ Since he's broke for cash, and also doesn't eat or drink food. It seems like this might be the end of the conversation, but-]
And the bruises, Jin?
no subject
Just a scuffle.
[...]
Bar scuffle.
[.......]
It wasn't-- [Okay, this is getting ridiculous.] --well, I'm not bleeding anymore, at least, but it's been mostly dealt with, so it's fine. Don't worry about it.

[It's a question but it's really not. He doesn't wait much longer for an answer-]
You have a room at the Inn, yes?

He doesn't know how great the lodgings are at the munitions shop, but he can't imagine it's nicer than an actual room in the inn.]
Please come to the eighth room. I will wait for you there.
actionnnn
As soon as he's opening the door, Jin's outside, looking scuffed up for sure and with an abashed expression on his face.]
Like I said: it's really not as bad as it looks.

[ The sound of someone who's not really listening to your excuse, as he ...eyes the damage, and then gestures to the room.]
Please sit anywhere, Jin.
[ The bed, a chair, the floor. He doesn't care. ]

[This time. Nevertheless, Jin obediently takes a seat on the ground, legs folded.]
no subject
[Although yeah. "This time."You little shit.
Zenyatta takes a seat opposite him on the ground. He actually was on his feet for once, although his legs definitely make an unusual sort of sound when he sits. The orbs that circle him slow for a moment as he takes one from it's orbit. With his touch, it begins to glow with a golden light.]
Hold out your hands.

What kind of magic is this?
[At least he's listening. Jin holds his hands out, fully expecting to feel the weight of the orb dropping into them.]

[Little by little, the wounds begin to fade, beginning with the cuts on his face. Jin glances, puzzled, down at the orb, then back up at Zenyatta.]
You're not... hurting yourself to do this, are you?
no subject
[ Although it's cute Jin cares. It's a far cry from the same man who shot him with an arrow upon seeing him, months ago. ]

[it was reflex zen ok]
Gotta say, I'm surprised you're not grilling me on what'd happened. [a 'bar scuffle', jin, sure.]

And before you ask, it wasn't actually my fault. [this... time.]
no subject
I will require further explanation, of course.

A... teammate started it, but I egged him on. We caught the attention of some bandits who'd been lurking around, and, well.
[vaguely gestures down at himself... still holding the healing orb.]
3 hours in jail later, I'm here. That was just the other day.
no subject
[ Because he's going to assume Jin took the hits for said teammate, but you know, just in case. ]
no subject
[quite the opposite happened.]
...I trusted him, and he stuck it out with me. [he remembered what zenyatta said. never doubt that he's learning-- even if it doesn't always look like it!!] He already found a healer, too.
